Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: 22 October 2025
These Terms govern your access to and use of Slightly Technical Academy websites, courses, digital products, and communities (collectively, the “Services”). By creating an account, purchasing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
1) Who we are
Contracting party: Marko Maletin, sole proprietor trading as Slightly Technical Academy (Ćirila i Metodija 182, Novi Sad, Republic of Serbia).

2) Definitions
- “Content” – courses, lessons, videos, livestreams, downloads, text, graphics, audio, presets, ToneX packs, guides, and any paid or free materials provided through the Services.
- “Products” – digital downloads and paid materials offered for purchase.
- “Backstage” – our private community spaces (e.g., Discord) for enrolled users.
3) Eligibility & accounts
- You must be 16+ or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the Services.
- Provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or applicable law.
4) Purchases, pricing, taxes
- Prices are shown exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise; you are responsible for any taxes, duties, or currency conversion fees.
- We may change pricing or run promotions at any time.
- If you purchase a subscription or installment plan (when offered), you authorize recurring charges until canceled per the plan terms.
5) Refunds & cancellations
- Courses: 15‑day full refund if you are not satisfied—no questions asked. Request via marko@slightlytechnicalacademy.com with your order details.
- Digital downloads (e.g., presets, ToneX packs, guides): generally non‑refundable once access or download has occurred, except where required by law or expressly stated on the product page.
- If a refund is issued, associated licenses and community access may be revoked.
EU/UK consumers – digital content: By requesting immediate access to digital content (streaming or download) you may be asked to confirm you agree to immediate delivery and acknowledge losing the statutory withdrawal right once access begins. Our 15‑day satisfaction guarantee applies as stated above, regardless of statutory withdrawal.
6) License & acceptable use
- We grant you a limited, personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to access the Services and Content for your own use, subject to these Terms.
- You may not copy, record, redistribute, resell, publicly perform, make available, or sublicense the Content; bypass access controls; share your login; or use the Services to violate law or third‑party rights.
- Educational exceptions or additional rights apply only if we grant them in writing.
7) Community rules (Backstage/Discord)
To maintain a helpful, respectful environment:
- Be respectful; no harassment, hate speech, illegal content, doxxing, or spam.
- Do not share others’ content without permission.
- Follow moderator directions.
- We may remove content or restrict access for violations.
8) Safety & professional disclaimers (IMPORTANT)
Our Content often covers electronics, DIY, amplifier circuits, and audio engineering. High voltages and tools can be dangerous. The Content is provided “as is” for educational purposes. You are solely responsible for your use of information. Always follow applicable standards, use proper protective equipment, and consult qualified professionals when needed.
Nothing in the Services constitutes electrical engineering, legal, business, tax, or medical advice.
9) User content & feedback
- You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g., posts, comments). You grant us a worldwide, royalty‑free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, publish, display, and distribute your submissions as needed to operate and improve the Services and community features.
- Do not upload anything you lack rights to; you are responsible for your submissions.
10) Intellectual property
All Content and the Services (including trademarks and logos) are owned by Slightly Technical Academy or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
11) Third‑party services
The Services may integrate third‑party tools or platforms (e.g., PayPal for payments, Webflow hosting, Zoho Mail for email, Microsoft Clarity for analytics, Discord for community). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
12) Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately for any breach of these Terms or suspected unlawful activity. You may stop using the Services at any time. Sections that by nature should survive (e.g., IP, disclaimers, limitations, governing law) will survive termination.
13) Warranties & limitation of liability
- THE SERVICES AND CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law (including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement).
- To the maximum extent permitted, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption.
- Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
Consumer rights: Nothing in these Terms limits non‑waivable consumer rights under applicable law.
14) Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your unlawful use of the Services, your content, or your breach of these Terms.
15) Governing law & venue
- Governing law: Laws of the Republic of Serbia (excluding conflict‑of‑laws rules).
- Venue: Competent courts in Novi Sad, Serbia.
- If you are a consumer in the EEA/UK, you may also bring claims in your country of residence as required by law.
16) Changes to the Services or Terms
We may modify the Services or these Terms. Material changes will be notified reasonably in advance (e.g., site notice or email). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
17) Privacy
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it for details on how we collect and process personal data.
